The contribution by Maverick Charters was a day of fishing for stripers and blues and had a high bid of $400. This trip includes sailing from beautiful Allen Harbor Marine in Harwich Port, MA to fish the fabled rips of Monomoy."

"The proceeds from this auction are going to "Guide for the Gulf" which provides financial assistance to charters, guides and others within the fishing industry who are in need. This program directly benefits the members of the fishing industry who have been adversely affected by Hurricane Katrina - people who now face a long uncertain future in light of the economic and environmental impact this disaster will ultimately have."
